Glogster EDU Science Project

Hello 6th graders, please follow the directions below very closely to complete everything.  Please help each other if someone is getting confused, or needs help.

1. Start by logging in to Google Apps, go to Google Drive and open up the document you created to store all your URLs.

2. Take out your handouts from last week.  Make sure you have your rubric, outline and the graphic organizer to record your notes.  **If you are missing any of these, there are extra ones on the front table under the white board. 

3.  Use Google search to finish researching your animal if you haven't finished yet.  **Remember, it is very important that you are NOT asking Google questions, you should be using KEYWORDS only.  Don't forget to check the website you are going to and make sure it is a reliable website, no Wikipedia, wiki answers etc.  The websites you use should have factual information.  

5.  Once you have all your facts, search for at least four images and save them to your P-Drive.  Remember to click visit site when you find the image, then when you are at the site, right click on the image and go down to Save Image as.  Make sure it is being saved into your P-Drive and give it a name.

6. Once you have all your images and facts, you may log in to Glogster EDU.  Take the link under school sites from the BIS homepage.  **Your log in is:  Username: lastnamefirstname19  Password: ID+00

  Choosing "classic glog" will be the easiest one to work with.  

***If you are having trouble using Glogster, check out Glogster's YouTube channel here, with lots of videos on using Glogster.  Some of these videos will be very helpful to you.**

9. Make sure you look at your rubric to make sure you are including all requirements!

8. When class is over, don't forget to click the big pink button with "Save & Publish."  Title your glog, then click save.  Be sure to log out of Google Apps, & Glogster before logging out of the computer.
