Welcome back from break! For the next few weeks we will be discussing Digital Manipulation & the Media. Have you heard of Digital Manipulation before? What do you think it means? Have you heard the saying, "A picture is worth 1,000 words?" What about, "You can't believe Everything you See?"
First, please create a new document in Google Docs & name it Visual Literacy, then look at the board, and use your best typing skills to type the definitions to the following words.
Media- The means of communication, as radio, internet and television, newspapers, and magazines, that reach or influence people widely
Visual Literacy- The ability to interpret, and make meaning from information presented in the form of an image.
Digital Manipulation- Drastically Changing/Altering an image from the original
Once you are done, please keep this page up and look at the photo below
